Thank you: Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make Sunday evening’s confirmation and baptism service such a success. It was a magnificent service, full of the Holy Spirit. Wonderful to hear some incredible testimonies and listen to our majestic organ going at full tilt along with the band. Thank you! Will.
11am Visuals: We’d like to continue providing words on the screens for the 11am hymns. In order to do this, we need a small group of helpers who’d be willing to be trained to operate the system. It is literally clicking a mouse so not hard. Please let the office know if you can help.
Unhindered Worship: We are starting ‘Unhindered Worship’ evenings on the third Monday of each month starting at 7.30pm. This will begin Monday 20th Nov, not in Dec but then every month from Jan onwards.
Safeguarding training: Sat 25th Nov at 10.30am-noon for volunteers working with children & young people. email@example.com

Children’s Society Box Count: Thank you very much to all box holders. Over the last 6 months, we have raised £142.45. Last year the Children’s Society invested £1.6 million raised by collection boxes into their services. Every penny in your box does make a difference, as it is changing the lives of vulnerable children. Liz Mayston 816843.
Advent Courses: There will be 3 evening courses at the Rectory Thornborough on Nov 29th, Dec 6th, Dec 13th at 7.30pm led by Rupert Bursell and Gussie Walsh. More details from Gussie on 01280 821616 or email email@example.com .
Waiting for Jesus: Weds 6th Dec, 8.00-9.oopm in BPC. In this Advent season, come to a warm, candlelit church and take time out from the ‘pressure’ to reflect on some of the events around the birth of Christ, through visual display, music, readings, reflections, prayers and quiet. Led by the Prayer Ministry Team. All very welcome.
Organ Recitals: Our recitals this year, celebrating the refurbishment of the 1913 Norman & Beard instrument, raised £610 towards The Centre’s outreach work. Thank you very much for your support. We are making plans for next year and would welcome your feedback. Rob Tucker.
Women’s Breakfast: Thank you so much to everyone who helped with the Women’s Breakfast and to everyone who came, it was a great morning with a really inspiring talk by Emma Cottrell. We raised an amazing total of £137.52 from ticket sales, which will be donated to Emma’s funding to provide children in Romania with winter boots.
Christmas Cards and Advent Calendars are now on sale on the church stall. Catalogues are available for ordering gifts. Sultanas and raisins are on sale for your Christmas baking, and lots more besides. Make your Christmas a fairly traded one.
Benefice Christmas Lunch: 3rd December in Nash Village Hall, 1pm (or soon after!). This is a bring and share lunch with members from all our benefice churches. All are welcome but it will be helpful to know numbers and what you can bring. We try to be a little more organised than usual, to ensure that we can enjoy a traditional Christmas lunch of turkey, etc. Please contact Judith Bundock (01280 813887 or firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to come.
