CAP Life Skills is a friendly group where you’ll gain practical skills and discover new ways to live for a brighter future. And it’s starting in Buckingham very soon!  If you want to see your money go further, have more time and less hassle in your day-to-day life, improve your health and wellbeing and much more, then Life Skills is for you.

What does Life Skills involve?
Life Skills will equip you with tools such as how to eat well, stick to a budget and improve your relationships. You’ll meet with a group of like-minded people, follow an eight-week course and learn practical skills from our trained coaches – and have some fun along the way!

How much does it cost?
Absolutely nothing – our Life Skills group is completely free.

When can I start?
The next Life Skills group in Buckingham starts with a Try-Out taster time on Tuesday 21st January. If you’re interested, or just curious, come along to The Centre, Verney Close, MK18 1JP from 10:15 to see how it works and decide if it’s for you.

The group sessions will then start on Tuesday Jan 28th. We’ll begin with refreshments at 10:15 every week except during half term, followed by a free simple lunch at around 12:30 in a safe, sociable environment.

How do I join?
If you’d like to know more, or to register for the Taster session, please call or text us at 07458 604064 or email annhubbard@caplifeskills.org

Do I have to be a Christian?
Not at all – our services are for everyone. Life Skills has been developed by national charity Christians Against Poverty and as Christians, we believe that God answers prayer, so we may offer to pray with you, and talk about our faith, but it’s up to you if you’re happy for us to do this or not. We’re passionate about helping people from all ages, backgrounds, ethnicities and faiths.
