Not So Super Heroes: Samson
Keith Croxton
Samson won many battles over the Philistines but he lost the most important battle, the one within himself. Keith explores how Samson lost that battle within himself and sees three challenges for us today. To fully grasp God’s calling on our lives, not to slide back or be bound by old life temptations and to ensure we keep in step with the Holy Spirit. Please note there is a slight pause in Keith's talk near the beginning so the microphone could be adjusted.

Resting on God Alone.
Keith Croxton
Psalm 62 was almost certainly written by David in the context of one of the greatest heartbreaks in his life. His son Absalom had turned against him and was seeking to steal the throne from his own father. And yet in the midst of all his pain David could write this psalm, showing his amazing confidence in God. Psalm 62 can be a source of encouragement and hope to anyone going through one of life’s many storms.

Viral Verses
Keith Croxton
This passage looks at the “one to one” encounter between Jesus and Nicodemus. Keith explores how Jesus helped Nicodemus to see that he had to be born again spiritually if he was to become part of God’s Kingdom and how this was only possible through the cross. Focusing on verse 16 we are challenged to think about God’s amazing unconditional love and whether that is something we have experienced for ourselves.

To the fellowship.
Keith Croxton
Keith looks at how Jesus prepared the apostles for the huge response He knew would follow the pouring out of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. Fellowship was a priority for those early followers which brought new challenges. But their fellowship became a powerful witness as they loved one another, lived as one and reflected God’s glory. Keith explores what their fellowship can teach us today.

Lent 4: The Cross and Identity
Keith Croxton
Where is my identity found ? Paul writes in Galatians. “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me “ .. The Passage from Romans unpacks this amazing statement and helps understand that our true identity is wrapped up in Jesus: we are baptised into Jesus, we are crucified with Him – share His death – and we are raised through him to new life. It is through the cross that we have our new identity and can rejoice that we are a loved, accepted, child of God our Father

Autumn 7: Jesus and the Crooked Millionaire
Keith Croxton
Zacchaeus was an unpopular, rich, tree climbing, chief tax collector from Jericho whose life was suddenly transformed by his encounter with Jesus. Jesus looked into the heart of Zacchaeus and saw a readiness for salvation and Zacchaeus responded in an amazing way. Keith explores what this life changing encounter meant to Zacchaeus and how that can challenge us today.
