Visitors to our church often comment on the warmth of the welcome they receive here. We would love to welcome you too.
Sunday Services
Please note on Sunday 29th September it is our Parish Weekend Away.
There will be one 10am Communion Service and one 6pm Worship Service.
Our usual service pattern is as follows:
Sunday 9am: Traditional Communion Service
Sunday 11am: Family Service
Sunday 6pm: Contemporary Service
Wednesday 10am: Midweek Communion Service.
Past services are on our YouTube channel here.
What Happens When I Get There?
When you come into the Church building, someone will greet you at the door and offer you a copy of the weekly notices and maybe a song book, although words for all the songs are projected on the screen at the front.
The Services normally start at 9.00am, 11.00am and 6.00pm. Click on the links to learn more about each service. Morning services last about an hour or little longer if communion is involved. Services will normally consist of singing, Bible readings, prayers and an easy to listen to talk. If you’d like to know what the talks are like, you can listen to previous ones online before you come!
Please sit wherever you like. Before and after the morning/evening service there is a chance for a free coffee or tea, and an opportunity to meet members of the Ministry Team.
Is There Anything For My Children?
Usually during the 11am and the 6pm Sunday services the children can join their own groups. We also have a crèche for the under 3s. Further details on our kids page.
Will I Be Asked To Give Money?
There will be a collection, but don’t feel embarrassed to pass the collection basket on without putting anything in it. Many Church members contribute directly through their bank accounts so you won’t be the only one passing it on!
What Should I Wear?
There is no dress code for any of our services, come in whatever you are most comfortable in.
We hope this helps to explain what our Church is like. Please do come along, we’d love to see you! If you are still nervous after reading this, please contact us and someone would love to meet you and show you around.
